Sherry Certeza

Sherry Certeza has turned a life-long fascination with color and space into her consultation service, Design Accomplished. She offers expertise on every aspect of interior re-design, including color selection, space planning, furnishing and accessorizing, organization, and staging. She works closely with local professionals and contractors to provide turnkey solutions for a variety of remodeling projects. Sherry occasionally works out of state but prefers to stay close to home, focusing on Baltimore, Harford, Cecil, Anne Arundel and Howard counties.

Design Accomplished brings Sherry back to her first love -- artistic and practical interiors -- after a prolonged detour into commercial design.  She graduated from York Academy of Arts in that field and, after gaining several years of experience, established an award winning commercial design firm in Pennsylvania. She sold her business after fifteen years, moving to Maryland in 1998 to marry her "new and improved" husband and raise three mop-topped miniature poodles.

Over the years Sherry has built on her initial minor in interior design with hands-on experience in many areas, including floral arranging, designing custom furniture and built-ins, creating trade-show exhibits and merchandising. She practiced interior re-design for family and friends, while working full time designing and supervising the installation of organizational systems and custom furniture.  Design Accomplished recently allowed her the opportunity to leave that position and devote her full attention to color, space and re-design -- a change she was happy to make!

Diane Harder

With over 25 years in Fine Arts, Photography and working with residential and commercial interiors, Diane Harder combines her background with her love of the natural environment in her approach to decorating.  She believes a space must be organized, functional and comfortable in order to live well and work well.  She believes, in many cases, materials may be updated, refinished and refreshed rather than replaced.

Her experience comes into play at the very beginning of your new build or remodel with color and materials, both interior and exterior with flooring, window and wall treatment, furniture and fabrics and finishes with art, accessories and beautiful accents.

Diane lives and works in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area and travels throughout Central PA for her work.  After a long career in  retail art, picture framing and interiors, she loves working by appointment.

She also volunteers by directing art programs for seniors in community centers and senior care facilities throughout her area and is expanding these services to include a self defense and safety program for this age group.
